Sleep

The awareness of life is a fleeting thought
One that comes as a clarity in silence
And hides behind the blur of mind noise immediately on the realization that i am life

The noise continues and imagination takes control and the locus of life moves into memory and the i becomes me

My memory takes control and i lose out into a series of wants until the wants ...now un fulfilled ... The thoughts tired ...and the memory of hurt ...sets in to take the mind noise go into a grinding halt and back to silence

This time it is the silence of the mind due to tired ness and not one of realization ...

Gayathri Mantra

The beauty of this simple mantra keeps growing with time and questioning

Repeated chanting/meditation is necessary as per the rituals ..thrice a day

Not been very regular yet I've forced myself to sit through and focus as best possible

May the Truth that enlivens the three world Bhu Bhuvaha Suvaha earth nether worlds and heaven past present and future body mind  and intellect ..... let that Truth enliven my body my mind my intellect my worlds my life my decisions

May my thoughts and actions be in tune with That Truth May my intentions be aligned with That Truth

May my life be an extension of That which is the thread of Life... of Light... of Love

May Truth prevail into the fabric of the misconception that I exist other than That which is the reason that I am sentient

May these words fade into the realization that I am That Sivoham Sivoham Sivoham. ..Om Shanthi Shanthi Shanthihi

Om Tat Sat

How Can 12 Laws Of Karma Change Your Life

http://peacefulwarriors.net/how-can-12-laws-of-karma-change-your-life/

How Can 12 Laws Of Karma Change Your Life - Lesson of Time - KarmaKarma is the Sanskrit word for action. It is equivalent to Newton’s law of ‘every action must have a reaction’. When we think, speak or act we initiate a force that will react accordingly. This returning force maybe modified, changed or suspended, but most people will not be able eradicate it.

How Can 12 Laws Of Karma Change Your Life

This law of cause and effect is not a punishment, but is wholly for the sake of education or learning.

A person may not escape the consequences of his actions, but he will suffer only if he himself has made the conditions ripe for his suffering. Ignorance of the law is no excuse whether the laws are man-made or universal.

To stop being afraid and to start being empowered in the worlds of karma and reincarnation, here is what you need to know about karmic laws.
1. THE GREAT LAW

– “As you sow, so shall you reap”. This is also known as the “Law of Cause and Effect”.

– Whatever we put out in the Universe is what comes back to us.

– If what we want is Happiness, Peace, Love, Friendship… Then we should BE Happy, Peaceful, Loving and a True Friend.

2. THE LAW OF CREATION

– Life doesn’t just HAPPEN, it requires our participation.

– We are one with the Universe, both inside and out. – Whatever surrounds us gives us clues to our inner state.

– BE yourself, and surround yourself with what you want to have present in your Life.

3. THE LAW OF HUMILITY

– What you refuse to accept, will continue for you.

– If what we see is an enemy, or someone with a character trait that we find to be negative, then we ourselves are not focused on a higher level of existence.

4. THE LAW OF GROWTH

– “Wherever you go, there you are”.

– For us to GROW in Spirit, it is we who must change – and not the people, places or things around us.

– The only given we have in our lives is OURSELVES and that is the only factor we have control over.

– When we change who and what we are within our heart our life follows suit and changes too. THE

5. LAW OF RESPONSIBILITY

– Whenever there is something wrong in my life, there is something wrong in me.

– We mirror what surrounds us – and what surrounds us mirrors us; this is a Universal Truth.

– We must take responsibility what is in our life.

6. THE LAW OF CONNECTION

– Even if something we do seems inconsequential, it is very important that it gets done as everything in the Universe is connected.

– Each step leads to the next step, and so forth and so on.

– Someone must do the initial work to get a job done.

– Neither the first step nor the last are of greater significance,

– As they were both needed to accomplish the task.

– Past-Present-Future they are all connected…

7. THE LAW OF FOCUS

– You can not think of two things at the same time.

– When our focus is on Spiritual Values, it is impossible for us to have lower thoughts such as greed or anger.

8. THE LAW OF GIVING AND HOSPITALITY

– If you believe something to be true, then sometime in your life you will be called upon to demonstrate that particular truth.

– Here is where we put what we CLAIM that we have learned, into actual PRACTICE.

9. THE LAW OF HERE AND NOW

– Looking backward to examine what was, prevents us from being totally in the HERE AND NOW.

– Old thoughts, old patterns of behavior, old dreams…

– Prevent us from having new ones.

10. THE LAW OF CHANGE

– History repeats itself until we learn the lessons that we need to change our path.

11. THE LAW OF PATIENCE AND REWARD

– All Rewards require initial toil.

– Rewards of lasting value require patient and persistent toil.

– True joy follows doing what we’re suppose to be doing, and waiting for the reward to come in on its own time.

12. THE LAW OF SIGNIFICANCE AND INSPIRATION

– You get back from something whatever YOU have put into it.

– The true value of something is a direct result of the energy and intent that is put into it.

– Every personal contribution is also a contribution to the Whole.

– Lack luster contributions have no impact on the Whole, nor do they work to diminish it.

– Loving contributions bring life to, and inspire, the Whole.

Separation (Viraha) and its manifestaions

Devi Meera's whole life was a reflection of this separation with her beloved Krishna. Her life was an expression of this pain of separation or viraha. Not only this, until her final union and dissolution in the divine form of Sri Krishna, her Giridhar Nagar, she had experienced all the stages of love and separation, description of this can be found in her poetry.

The foundation of love is separation. Love without separation is meaningless like body without life. Only in separation can we really experience live in its true form.
Separation has been said to be of three types: future separation, present separation and past separation.
1. That beloved will leave in the future, this results in pain - is 'future separation'. In union, there is always anxiousness due to the ever impending departure of the beloved. As the time passes by, the anxiety intensifies making one restless.
2. We experience heart rending pain  when the beloved leaves - this is called 'present separation'. When the beloved is with you there is supreme bliss, the time flies by. But alas! the days of togetherness are soon over! The world ceases to exist in the presence of beloved, and today, he is ready to leave. One has given everything and even oneself away to the beloved and now the beloved is going away. The eyes will no longer see the divine countenance. Ah!! What will happen now? Such thoughts trouble the mind and every pore of the being cries out. The heart is torn in thousand pieces or, the heart is broken in two parts and one part is bring taken away! This pining gets unbearable with every passing moment.
3. When the beloved has long gone, the pain that results thereby- is 'past separation'.  Two persons bound by love remain united by this bond however distant they might be from each other. This bond of love become s immortal. In separation, the dear memories of beloved sustains love. But these memories sometimes become so potent that one cannot be at peace without seeing the beloved. One loses patience but even in this state of hopelessness, the liver never loses hope that the beloved will surely come back sooner or later. One desires a brief glimpse from far, if only. In such state, one feels neither alive nor dead. This pining and longing gives rise to several mental and behavioral states.

There are said to be ten such states.  These are:

चिन्तात्र जागरोद्वेगो तानवं मलिनाग्ता ।
प्रलापो व्याधिरून्मादो मोहो मृत्युर्दशा दश ।।

1. Worry  2. Sleeplessness  3. Anxiety 4. Loss of appetite  5. Lack of interest in dressing up. 6. Crying 7. General malaise 8. Laziness. 9. Losing consciousness 10. Death

Meerabai'so poetry contains a depiction of all these mental states.

Unresolved

The Ego stands bruised
Hurt and in agony
The identity questioned
And pushed aside for violation

Why this hurt ..
Why this balance of thought

Who are you
My name
Where are you from
Here
Where
Here

What a conversation
Yet there is this hurt
A yearning to see
Or a loss of recognition to pass unquestioned

Softly i cry inside
Not knowing how to resolve

Wait ..how could You do this
Your devotee ..You ..Me

I will never come here until You call me
You bring me here and i will see You
How could You do this

Still the hurt continues .. unresolved
Is it me holding back or is it You softly crying within

What can You do
You are stuck within
Locked in stone

While i... change
What haughtiness

Still stuck in thought ...
Unresolved

The Ego exists and raising its fangs when hurt

Death and silence

There is a certain gloominess. ..an event normally gets me thinking but this simply paused everything ..a certain stillness fills the air

My neighbours brother passed away in the recent train accident ...

I won't see him again ...I remember him as keeping his car absolutely clean coming over from Bangalore with 2 kids ...

Calling it fate doesn't help ...neither does it make sense to blame anyone ...everything just hangs and in the silence the earth holds another child in her arms and the family stares into a future they don't want to be in without that child

There are no explanations ..no words of comfort ...nothing material ..nothing spiritual even ..just the reality of life and it's uncertainty

we just move on ...I move on ..I explain people who ask me whether the job I offer will be permanent and I've always replied that my waking up the next day isn't in my hands how can something I offer be permanent?

Here it is ..

I've always believed that the difficulty and beauty of Vedanta is in accepting this reality and embracing life ..overcoming the instincts by empathy

But the silence of the moment is more meaningful than breaking it using the noise of  words

Way of life

"People keep saying Hinduism is not a religion. It's a way of life . How can a way of life not remain a religion ? Every culture wants to define and structure social living .How can any religion not be a way of life .Christianity is a way of life so is Islam . Religion defines living "

there is this invisible force of pooling in resources for this program which is either fear , taxes or God. .. People get 'educated ' into a mould where behaviour is termed normal

Soul is different subject altogether. To me its an emotional sink until the thought process is isolated and Dumbledore's pensieve is used to look at it closely for study with the 'fine text ' from the philosophies of the religions

The life of Jesus or Ram would adapt and question today's so called religious structures and use the medium of communication better

It is important to note that any great 'Divine ' life was both a political and religious icon of the times. ... they were deified to bring in a certain control and repeatability or system into a naturally chaotic world order

The Ego is included

Sum total of all results seem 0 from the perspective of life and goals and Infinite from the stand point of existence simply because all of existence + that which exists + that which imagines all of Existence  (ego) in consciousness can only be Infinite

All this is just a quarter of Him/Her/It and if measured is more than anything that can be measured ... from my little understanding of Purushasuktham

I am ...

Rambling again ...

Some how I've been happy and convinced that the 'universe' (I like multi verse better ) itself is just consciousness and the whole is witnessing through individual sheaths as beings - insects animals humans viruses even fetuses. ...time itself is in question as our '100' year life is too big from animal stand point and just ok for other creatures ...what to talk about the fetus

But from a parent of the fetus the memory of losing the life would take a much of the lifetime to heal ...so who knows what the fetus even experienced
It's the mind and memory alone which brings meaning to abstract sounds as words and 'eternal unblemished' decorated space as 'worlds'

Maybe it was for experiencing maybe for witnessing maybe it's just a memory ...another electrical pulse ..imagination ..maaya

I am...

Ramblings

I love the matrix theory  ...only there isn't a 'real' world that you could get to if you unplug ..

Also ; You could always choose the other pill and believe what you want

Infinite is something imaginary as what we believe when we use the word 'infinite ' is based on an imagined idea of beyond

The super soul or many souls or whatever we call it is included in that concept of infinite including the individual 'i' me who is referring to it ....

So numbers increasing or decreasing doesn't matter to infinity

Purushasuktham states that what we know is not even a quarter of what is and what is , is  10 steps more than that

So any amount of parallels is only a point of reference to ones understanding with respect to Infinity

Now the one soul many soul discussion is based on local reality with respect to the body and the 'known' world and is infinitesimally small as far as the Infinite is concerned

Now super soul = Super Consciousness = Infinte

But that is imaginary as I cannot 'know ' the Infinite

But ...The Infinite has to include me the infinitesimally small jiva = soul else 'IT' (unfortunately ) cannot be Infinite

So i  am part of the Infinite = my consciousness is part of the Infinite = I am the Infinite
